Delta’s team of highly qualified and experienced serviced engineers are committed to delivering total customer care.  Delta supply the highest quality products in the market place and offer the highest levels of service and technical expertise.

Delta assist customers with compliance of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 which requires building operators and owners to provide a suitable system of maintenance for the smoke ventilation system. This system is to be recorded in the companies Fire Safety Manual.  The code requires a competent person who is familiar with the fire engineering performance specifications of the installed system to undertake this work.  This is where Delta Ventilation experienced design engineers (backed by PI insurance) working closely with our fully qualified service engineers provide a comprehensive solution.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, replaced both the Fire Precautions Act 1971 and the Fire Precaution (Workplace) Regulations 1997. The new code formally addressed by the buildings Fire Certificate issued and enforced by the Local Authority Fire Brigade under the Fire Precautions Act 1971 requires proof of maintenance of the smoke ventilation system (primarily installed as part of a life safety system). Delta provide this proof by issuing a service certificate following the annual service, for inclusion in the customers Fire Safety Manual.

An annual service is recommended in BS 5588-12 and BS 7346 and thus Delta provide:

• Service contracts with 24 hour emergency call out
• Spares
• Service logs and test schedules as per BS EN 12101 and BS7346
• Design and Installation of additional smoke control measures i.e. for inclusion of mezzanine floors, fire fighting shafts etc
• Commissioning
